Individual Pet Portraiture
I’ve recently been asked if I would photograph non-human family members. While it certainly isn’t a focus of DogMama Images, I am flattered at the requests and will do some portraiture work. This work will be secondary to my rescue work and, as a show of commitment, 10% of all of my individual pet portraiture gross revenue will be donated to rescue or animal-related agencies.
These sessions will be set up one of two ways:
1. Individual sessions –
- These sessions can be booked in either half hour of full hour increments, and may be scheduled at your home or at a local park of your choice. In keeping with my philosophy, my photos will be more candid and casual that normal portraiture, as I strive to capture the animal’s true personality. All photos will be cropped to your requested size, but provided electronically. I retain copyright, but of course, the photos are yours to print, as long as they are not modified or used for commercial purposes. The cost is $50 per half hour, plus travel costs of $0.25 per mile.
2. Group sessions –
- From time to time, I will advertise a two-to-three hour block of time in a local park where I will take prebookings for 15-minute appointments. These appointments are exclusively booked for an individual client, and work like a mini-session, booked throughout the block of time. Each session costs $25 but no travel costs apply. The cost of the session guarantees the client a minimum of two electronic photos, available within 36 hours of the session.
Please email me if you are interested in either of these options and thank you to all who have shown interest in this area.
